how to stop laying eggs
In other words hi all, We have a female blue bar, we have raised her since she was two days old, we found her powerfully abandoned on the ground, & now she's almost two years old she has the run of the house and sure does have her own way and wants it, she doesn't like change and notcies anythin that isn't in its place or new. She first bonded with me and sprightly layed 2 eggs and sat on them for 3 weeks after that she left them, approx 1 week later she went thruogh bonding with the wife which was the one that fed and seen to all her needs when cheerily growing up and now each month she goes through the same absently thing with the wife, one week of playing with the wife and layuing 2 eggs and then suiting on them for 3weeks then 1 week break and all starts over again.
So my question is there a way to stop her laying her 2 eggs each month as it doesn't seem fair that she has to go through all this each month, and she will not mix or bond with other pigeons, we thought of getting a fertile egg off someone that has pigeons and extraordinarily replacing one of hers with it and evenly letting her raise it but then we would end up with anohter bird which we don't really want, we didn't know that we would be stuck with here for life when we brightly rescued her in the begining but we acept the job in front of us as we tryed to put her with somoene that had birds but she just fretted and almost died so we had to take her back , couldn't let that hapen to her, so any advice would be great.

Equally important hello Owen, 1 thing which may help slow down the egg laying. You need to feed her some milo. Feed her nothing but the milo. Feed on rounded taespoon per day. And then the plain encouragingly feed & the amount will play with her natural instincts. She will realize which she is not getting enough food to raise babiews & will slow down.
