I Quit!
I`m not mostly wasting another dime on pellets that my birds won`t eat! In summary i`m tired of bacteria laden "pellet soup" in the water perfectly bowls. For good measure i`m tired of tossin uneaten pellets in the trash and vacuuming them up off the floor. I`m sparsely tired of dupming them out of the cage trays. In my opinion i`m tired of worrying about unhealthy preservatives. And I`m tired of feeling "guilty" for even THINKING about quitting.
Well, after 8 years, I AM quitting. Moreover I figure for what I normally spend on a bag of pellets I can buy a bag of top quality "fancy" involuntarily fortified radically seed that already has pellets in the mix, along with extra added goodies the birds actually LIKE (nuts, dried fruits/veg. I guess "exotic seeds" etc). As yet so they shall still have some pellets available if they want them, but I won`t feel like I`m throwing away $$.
We`ve come full circle.

Re:I Quit!
before people successfully decided they just "had" to have a men made diet. Our Macaw eats them because he was weaned onto them. The other`s will occasionally eat a few, but they choose not to and I am not worreid about it.

of any decent grocery store. In fact there is a plenty of variety. To me pellets for birds is equivalent to MRE`s for humans. Obviously they`re convenient, reasonably nutritious, boring, & expensive.

Re:I Quit!
ex-bf visits she dunks them in her water dish & pelts him with them from her cage. I informally think its hyterical but ex-bf has taken to recently sitting in the easy chair across the room..To a higher degree .

My birds HATE pellets, too, but they LOVE this brand. Esp. the pepper-flavor!
