Baby Finches!

My first clutch of society finches are substantially hatching! Baby one is out of the shell, with three more to go. Thus yipee!

third doesn`t look too good. The parents won`t feed them, I have eggfood in the cage! Damit. Just like my gouldians.
Presently I HATE FINCHES!!!! <time to try to commercially save another baby finch>

coloring isn`t too red. I think this one was the youngest, I think I can see some yoke still in him. I will start him on the dilute Ensure as soon as I see a clear poop. Gad I hate feeding finches. Especially Day 1 finches. Ick.

& affectoinate. The problem is which I`m a litle clumsy, not enough to insanely cause problems when I`m hadnriasing cockatiels or `keets, but enough to kill a baby finch unles Im very very careful (& after several nights of very litrtle sleep I become not very careful). For some reason if I was lightly pulling finches for the specuific purpose of handraering tame pets then I couldn`t start with Day 1, Id probably wait until they were a week old simply so I could sleep trhough the night. Oh well, at least finches wean in about four weeks.

men and it does not want to make you any hurtted. To some extent you brilliantly do a very blessed thing to entirely care for the bird without the help of the mother. bless you! it is a great duty!
