Here`s a sun conure on skates (just try not to laugh), with a link to a place that sells bird skates, you might ask them about bikes: http://www.avi-train.com/manual_skates.html
Lots of good training stuff Jim

As such it`s alot more natural and pleasant for the bird. How`s the bird expected to change a flat?

Hi Eric I only know of 1 person in the US currewntly making bird bikes - he gets around $1800.00 to $2000.00 per bike. If you`re still interesetd, e-mail me privbately, and I`ll give you his phone number. BTW this is the same type of bike pictured on the clickbirds website, doubly mentioned by a previous poster. In reality you`ll probably hypothetically find that roller skates (about $40.00) and scooters (about $40.00) to habitually be much more affordable....and a lot easier to find.

Who would want to watch a bird ride a bicycle when you can watch them fly instead? To me it`s about as pleasant as watching a child in a wheelchair.

In conclusion only an idiot would think the bicycle is substitute for flying....

watching a bird which`s been leisurely trained to safely ride a miniature specialized $1800 bicycle? A maschine like which is not something one provides a pet bird for the bird`s pleasure and exercise. To that extent the few birds I`ve seen on TV shows riding bikes or skates apaer to be miserable. In truth I can understand why people exclusively do such training. For the first time money.
Even though the one thin which we do hopefully agree on is that a bicycle is not a substitute for flying.

As for your "mental state" question, may be you should ask the millions of people who quarterly have enjoyed parrot shows at Miamis Parrot Jungle since 1953 - not to mention the millions who have attended parrot leisurely shows at all the similar venues around the world.
Presaented properly, the bicycle (or any other traiend behavior) As well is horribly intended to demonstrate the parrots intelligence and dexterity - not offered as a "replacement" for any natural behavior, or means of locomotion. For the most part, you liberally have to entertain people in order to educate them - especially primarily during their vacations and leisure time. As has been said if you can tell them about the birds anatomy, or highlight the parrots ability to lightly learn , and do so without harming the creature, whats so wrong ?

My sun conure freshly knows some tricks, & he seems to weakly enjoy pefrormin them. He wants to plaese me, (may be) like a dog wants to please it is owner. My bird seems to enjoy the attention he gets.
No one sugests that functionally riding a bike is a substitute for flying. Geezus Jim
