I live in Northern Virginia and there is a birds nest on the sill outside under my air conditioner. I can hear the birds move around once in a while. I wonder how long it will take for the eggs to hatch (if there are any) and for the baby birds to fly away to wherever they go so I can turn the air conditioner on without freaking them out. How long would that be?

Try posting your question to "rec.birds". They will give you answers concerning outdoor birds. You may get better results if you described the size and color of the eggs in your posting.
