Strike, that is an amazing photo, thank you so much for sharing this

It sure looks like two others have holes in them. It won't be long now before they'll hatch as well, I think.

    Will you keep us updated?

I have just checked the nest today and there are still 2 babies, what a difference in size looks like mum & dad looking after them.

BAD NEWS TODAY... the second chick to hatch has sadly died{Feel-bad-0002006A} we are hoping that the other one will be ok as its growing everyday and mum seems to be concentrating on this one.the chick is 6 days old now

not sure if we should we now remove the other eggs or leave them in the box if anyone could give some advice on this... thanks

Strike, so sorry to hear that Such a pity....

I am sure the first chick will be OK, she's having mom's care and has made it until now, so why not

Personally I wouldn't take the eggs out just yet..

ok thanks for that the 2nd 1 to hatch was so small we thought mum & dad were feeding it but it just didnt grow as quickly as the 1st one.another one might hatch as she layed eggs for 14 days. at least we have 1 that has hatched and made it so far.

i hope we have done right we have taken out the dead chick
