when we first got the lovebirds from our freinds .we didnt know they mated or she had layed eggs anyways she had layed 5 and only 2 hatched i didnt have no info on them so i did some research on them on the internet.so they hatched the female was fine but the male was differant his legs were twisted from eating seeds so i took him ti the vet and thats when he told me they need special bird food .so when she has more eggs they will get all the nutrian they need and it worked there all nomal now that i can see. anyway we named her Tweety and him Silvetser .they are funny to watch totaly differant personaltys she goes in and out of the bird house walks upside down inside of the cage shes crazy. then silvester when he eats he holds on to the cage to eat his disabilty doesnt stop him .when hes climbing up the cage to the perch or where ever hes going she comes along and bites his legs, feet she walks on him to by him if he doesnt move fast enough. and hes the only one that will let you hold him. the others forget it they bite.hes my favorite i guess cause he was boen with that diformity
