help calm me down

I'm hoping someone can give me some info. I have a wild scrub jay that I feed peanuts too. She takes them out of my hand. Well the other day her wing got caught on fly paper in my yard and I had to pull it off her. about 5 or 6 of her longest feathers came out. She hoped up up up branch by branch into the trees. I haven't seen her since yesterday. She usually comes for peanuts. I"m really sad and really worried that she may have broken her wing during her struggle..Could this be possible or does anyone think she's staying away because of fear. I hope it's not because she got caught by a cat for not being able to fly high. Any expert info would be much appreciated to calm me down. I feel like I was the cause of her possible death and if so I just can't live with myself.
