    Lovebirds Just Hatched!

    Hi All,

    Me and my Girlfriend have lovebirds that laid eggs.

    One of them hatched yesterday, but now we are unsure of what to do.

    It seems to be ok, though the nest is made of news paper that the birds ripped up, so the baby seems to "sink" a little bit. Is this ok?

    Mum and Dad seem to sit on it regularly, but not all the time. Is this normal?

    There's another 5 eggs waiting to hatch.

    What should we do with the new born?

    What should we be doing?

    And finally, What is the ideal temperature for the chick??
