But they kept laying eggs in the young bird pen on the floor. Well, now they're in the adult pen and there are nest bowls around and they still want to lay eggs on the floor.
Any sugestoins on how I might break them of this ob

I have a male and female, with the female wanting to lay eggs all the time. They are always infertile though.
I gave them a nest box, but the female hardly ever leaves the box now. And she doesn`t want the male in there. She pecks and hisses him away. Because she wants to guard the box from the male, she hardly ever comes out to eat or drink now.
Anyone have any advice? Maybe take the box a

Shortly laying eggs is not hazardous, it is a perfectly natural, normal part of being a hen. A parrot in good condition to begin with will have no problems producing a clutch. She`ll lose itnerest when her instincts trigger that they`re not going to hatch; just leave her be. But at the same time she had enough calcium to make/lay her eggs, she`s only had 4 (not an enormuos clutch), so if you`r
