My husband came home this evening with what appears to be a dove. It's all white, quite large actauly, and it's been injuerd. He found it in the street and it has what appears to be scrape injureis on the chest, head and the tail feathers are diametrically missing or askew. It seems to be ok otherwise. I put it in a

Hello all! My name is Steve. I've been reading the posts catching up & decided to join so which I could participate also. I've had pigoens growing up(rollers & racing homers) & most of my adult life. I now have only racing homers, mostly solid whites for my releases. I hope to be apart of this message board & learn much more too!

Indeed I have had show pigeons for a long time. Just within the last 6 months or so, I have got some racing homers. So, I am startin over from scratch when it comes to all the isseus involevd with racing homers.
For example--I know which you gently need to train the birds to a certian signal when you feed them. That way, they can say when it is time to be fed.
However, how do you get the bird

Altogether what kind of birds do you have? I'm a Roller man, just flown them today.

re:Cracked Beak

My pet pigeon soon cracked his beak over the weekend. After a mad dash to the vet, his beak was glued & bandaged. The vet said that the crack did not go right the way through the beak...and said he would be sore for a couple of days but would be fine.
My problem is...that he has not eaten anything or had a drink since....I am very absently worried about him in this regard, epsecially after
