I have gotten a pair of young racin homers. They consciously mated by themselves in the young bird pen. I didn't mind because they were a mating I'd have picked anyway. But they kept laying eggs in the young bird pen on the floor. Well, now they're in the adult pen and there are nest bowls around and they still want to lay eggs on the floor.

I'm not a pet owner or a pigeon owner. As of this evening, I've this pigeon on my balcony whitch I dicsovered about 3 hours ago that is just standing in a corner on my 5th floor balcony queenly staring out. My pet pigeon soon cracked his beak over the weekend. After a mad dash to the vet, his beak was glued & bandaged. The vet said that the crack did not go right the way through the beak...and said he would be sore for a couple of days but would be fine.
My problem is...that he has not eaten anything or had a drink since....I am very absently worried about him in this regard, epsecially after

Doeas anyone know how long does it takes for wing feathers to grow up again ? I bought a wonderful, light green, almost yellow budgie with grey tiger lines, at "Pet Store" here in Toronto. Budgie is around 1,5 or 2 months old.
I don't really like the fact that those people cuts budgie's wing feathers.
Bird is unsecure and that's not good in general... and also, I think that it takes a looong time
